Food and meat distribution
Regular food pack distributions, held sometimes on a weekly basis and at other times monthly, depending on the needs of the community and available resources. These food packs contain essential food items and, on selected occasions, include the distribution of fresh meat to support families facing hardship. We prioritise needy families with outstanding students - in alignment with our goal to promote education. ObjectiveTo alleviate hunger, preserve dignity, strengthen brotherhood within society, and remind the community of its responsibility towards those less fortunate. Through this ongoing effort, CDI seeks not only to provide physical sustenance but also to revive the spirit of generosity and mutual support that lies at the heart of Islam. |
Eid GatheringsEvery year, CDI hosts a special Eid gathering on the day of Eid itself for our revert brothers and sisters, accompanied by their families, who may not have family support or a community to celebrate with. This heartfelt initiative provides them with a warm and welcoming environment, including a shared lunch, meaningful gifts, and uplifting talks that strengthen faith and connection. ObjectiveThrough this annual gathering, CDI strives to ensure that every revert experiences the joy, unity, and compassion of Eid as part of a caring Muslim family. |
Iftar GatheringsIftar gathering for the families of the students. This event brings families together in a spiritual atmosphere, where they share a pleasant dinner, strengthen community bonds, and perform the Tarawih prayer together. Also, CDI hosts an iftar for the homeless in Plaine Verte, offering them a meal during this sacred month. In addition, CDI arranges iftar gatherings in various mosques with the youth, creating opportunities for them to connect, learn, and worship together. ObjectiveThrough this annual get-together, CDI aims to nurture unity, strengthen parent-school relationships as well as strives to embody the values of unity, care, service and inclusiveness to all. |
